How to Enjoy the Bible (2004 reprint of 1907 edition), ISBN 082542027X.
From the "Introduction": "'The majority of mankind think that they think; they acquiesce, and suppose that they argue; they flatter themselves that they are holding their own, when they have actually grown up to manhood, with scarcely a conviction that they can call their own. So it always was, and so it will ever be. The Divine things of the Word are no exception, but rather an instance. The more difficult the subject, and the more serious the consequences of error, the more averse the majority are to what is called 'unsettling men's minds' as if truth could be held on any other tenure than the knight's fee of holding its own against all comers. Protestantism has brought us no relief against this torpid state of mind, for, as the error is as deep as the nature of man, we cannot expect any deliverance from it so long as the nature of man continues the same, and his natural love of truth is almost as depraved as his natural love of holiness.' But the way of discovery, as Bishop Butler has [also] pointed out, still lies open before us; and it is our object in this work to enter on that way, and study the Bible from within and not merely from without."

Gonzales, Guilleromo and Richards, Jay W.
The Privileged Planet (2004), ISBN-13: 978-0895260659.
From the book's website: Gonzalez and Richards have written a book that is at once inspiring, illuminating, and beautiful. Although the 20th century insights in quantum physics should long ago have dispelled the simplistic idea that nature is nothing more than matter in motion, The Privileged Planet suggests that scientific discovery is embedded in the very structure of the cosmos. With uncommonly engaging prose, they offer a virtual tour of the marvels of modern science and the discoveries science has brought to light, from geology to cosmology. The authors also suggest intriguing answers to ubiquitous “cosmic questions”: Why have we been able to discover so much about the world around us in such a short time? Is extraterrestrial life common, or is it quite rare? What is Earth’s place in the cosmos? Does the universe exist for a purpose? Only those interested in these questions–but who isn’t?–should read this book. --George Gilder

Christians Should Be Prosperous (1971), ISBN 0910068658.
From the "Introduction": Multitudes of Christians are limiting God’s prosperity to themselves because they fail to apply the principles involved in opening the floodgates to allow God’s abundance to flow to them... This study in the law of prosperity is an educational venture, a training school, for all those who desire not only to know the will of God but to do His will, thus gaining for themselves the blessings which His will promises.

Wierwille, Victor Paul,
Jesus Christ Is Not God (1981, Second Edition), ISBN 0-910068-33-X.
From the "Introduction": No statement to many Christians could be more emotionally charged than that of “Jesus Christ is not God.” I can understand this. I was reared in a Christtian denomination that taught the Godhead as a trinity: that is, “God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.” I accepted this doctrine because I respected the sincerity of my teachers, although its meaning kept vexing my mind. I vividly recall asking my saintly pastor when I was just 16 years old to explain the trinity to me. Ever since then I have searched to understand this doctrine which has been considered the cornerstone of Christianity for the past fifteen centuries. I have had access to and have read the major works in systematic theology both of the past as well as current publications. For years I have done my utmost in evaluating whatever I could find to read plus directly studying with Biblical scholars. I have asked theologians of unblemished character to discuss the trinity with me, yet I never found more substance than what my child-hood pastor, Dr. L. H. Kunst, told me 42 years ago: “No one can explain the trinity. We simply accept it by faith.”

Wierwille, Victor Paul,
Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed (1982), ISBN 0-910068-42-9.
From the "Preface": One of the most celebrated of holidays around the world is Christmas. Its popularity is growing even in traditionally non-Christian countries. Merchants capitalize on its lucrative tradition of gift giving. In my own family we have always given gifts at Christmastime and gathered the family around the Christmas tree. Warm memories of love and giving arise when I think of our traditional family Christmas celebrations. Yet tradition rather than truth is the basis for celebrating the birth of Christ on December 25... So how did the birthday of our savior become associated with December 25? When was the savior really born? By carefully tracking the details in the Word of God, in history, and in the field of astronomy, we can certify the time of his birth to within an hour and a half: the year, the date, and the hour. December 25, 1 A.D. is far off the mark.

Wierwille, Victor Paul,
Power for Abundant Living (1971), ISBN 0-910068-01-1.
From the dustjacket: Since the second century, Christians as a whole have been almost totally unaware of any special power to be used in everyday living. Yet the promise of Jesus Christ in John 10:10 is that He came so His followers “might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Why then are Christians so frequently not evidencing the more-than-abundant life? Dr. Wierwille, the author of this book, attributed Christians’s physical, mental, financial and all other problems to one underlying cause -- and that is lack of using their spiritual abilities... This book sets forth in written form a twelve-session class (also called “Power for Abundant Living”) which Dr. Wierwille has taught to thousands of people -- Christians and non-Christians, believers, doubters and skeptics -- across the United States and elsewhere around the world.

Wierwille, Victor Paul,
Receiving the Holy Spirit Today (1972, Sixth Edition), ISBN 0-910068-00-3.
From the dust jacket: An explosion of interest and activity has occurred in the last generation concerning the gift of the holy spirit. Multitudes of people have suddenly broken the barrier of ignorance and fear, and have begun to enjoy fellowship with God by the means that God himself provided: namely, speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is one of nine manifestations of holy spirit. Because we are followers of God, it is central to our lives that we do God’s will by operating these manifestations. Yet many Christians simply have not been taught how to manifest; some do not know why to manifest. Receiving the Holy Spirit Today is a how-to-do-it and a why-to-do-it book. It is also an in-depth Biblical study of the Holy Spirit field.
